Rules

Community Rules

MoH Arena runs on trust and fair play. These rules keep every match competitive and every player respected.

1. Conduct

Be polite and respectful to all players at all times. Harassment, racism, discrimination, or personal attacks of any kind will result in immediate removal from the community.

English is the preferred language in main channels so all players can follow along. Disagreements about calls or results must be handled calmly; bring disputes to an admin rather than escalating in chat.

2. How to Play

Download Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Spearhead, or Breakthrough and join the MoH Arena Discord. Log in to moharena.com with your Discord account, then link your in-game identity via the Link Game page.

You can join matches through private rooms or a mix session. When a mix is being organised, react in the Discord #want-to-play channel. Once enough players are ready, teams are automatically balanced by ELO and server details are shared in Discord.

3. Match Rules: Joining & Results

Players have 10 minutes to join the server after teams are set. A working microphone is required for all competitive matches because voice communication is part of the game.

Players are expected to play all rounds once the match has started. Leaving early can affect the automatic score and ELO calculation, because the final result may be based on incomplete statistics.

Once a match has started, the result counts regardless of disconnections or dropped players, unless both team captains agree to a rematch. All scores will be computed automatically, so screenshots are not required. Players may still take screenshots as a backup or for double-checking if something goes wrong.

4. Match Rules: Maps & Disputes

If the two teams cannot agree on a map, the higher-ranked team, by combined ELO, has the right to choose. If individual players cannot agree on a decision, the highest-ranked player present has the deciding vote.

Map disputes raised after a match has started will not be considered; agree before the first round begins.

5. Streaming

Streaming during competitive matches is no longer mandatory. MoH Arena Guard handles anti-cheat compliance automatically by validating your game files and config before every session.

You are still welcome to stream on Discord, Twitch, or YouTube; the community enjoys it, but it is not a requirement.

6. Allowed Modifications & Fair Play

What is and is not permitted is defined by the MoH Arena Guard ruleset, which is published on the Anti-Cheat pages. Guard validates your game files and config automatically before every protected session; anything not on the whitelist will be flagged.

In summary: no modified game files, custom player models or skins, wall exploits, or movement scripts. The custom crosshair menu is allowed. Maximum picmip is 2. Custom scopes are not allowed except for thin scopes, which reduce overlay thickness only. When in doubt, check the Anti-Cheat rules page before using any modification.

7. MoH Arena Guard

MoH Arena Guard is the official anti-cheat and launcher for MoH Arena. It validates your game files and config against the published whitelist, creates a session record on moharena.com, and injects your auth token for seamless server authentication.

It is required to join protected servers. Guard works on any server, not just MoH Arena servers. Any admin can add Guard support to their server by including a lightweight custom .pk3 file.

Players must have a MoH Arena profile so their identity is verified and tracked authentically. Download Guard from the Downloads page and log in with your MoH Arena auth token.
